The shiney black bit at the bottom is the top instrument panel - painted |
This blog was started in 2014 to share my home built flight deck that I am making. My journey started two years ago with research and construction started with this blog. This hobby will encompass many different skills including woodwork, computing, electronics and programming. As I progress with the project so I'll update this blog. If you’ve taken the time to view this blog please write a comment - good or bad - in the end I hope I can help others to achieve their ambition.

Filling in the back
After a couple of weeks without having time to do any work on my project, this weekend is the ANZAC commemoration day of the landing of troops at Gallipoli and so after taking part in the formal ceremonies, I've had a bit of time to do some work. Not much, but I've now filled in the back of the cockpit and painted the top of the instrument panel (you can see this in the foreground of the first photo)

Very nice job!
ReplyDeleteI see no activity after 2017...did you complete?
ReplyDeleteHi Jim. Thank you :-) Yes I did.....to a flyable state anyway and I hate to say it, but since then further progress has been slow and I haven't kept up with my blog - a round-to-it job ;-). I'm at the stage where I need to make all the overhead panel switches link to FSX and I have a few solutions up my sleeve, but just need time and patience to get round to it. I have posted a few videos on YouTube - here is a link to one of them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JiwCEKm99k ...alternatively you can type in PDC172
